The WAVE of Growth Expands Team into Downtown Raleigh Location!!
Beginning September 2nd WAVE will begin a new era at the Saint Mary's School pool in downtown Raleigh. The addition of the Saint Mary's School will give our current membership and prospective members another convenient location. WAVE at Saint Mary's will hold practice on Monday's, Wednesday's, and Thursday's for our Beginning Competitive and Level II groups starting at 6PM. Our Level I group will begin at 5PM. WAVE Swimming Recognized by USA Swimming
The Club Recognition Program is a voluntary program to recognize clubs that demonstrate a commitment to long term club growth, development and stability. Clubs must meet markers measuring business and organizational success, parent and volunteer development, coach development and education, and athlete development and performance. Club's are ranked Level 1 through Level 4.
For the last FOUR years WAVE has been recognized by USA Swimming's National Club Excellence Program.
The Club Excellence Program recognizes the top clubs, up to 200, in the country. Teams are scored based off a FINA Long Course Performance Rating system.
As a result WAVE Swimming has been awarded funding from USA Swimming to enrich the program further.
WAVE Swimming and Triangle Swim School are pleased to announce a strategic partnership in Cary.
Triangle Swim School runs Cary's most technically-based learn-to-swim program, focusing on teaching proper stroke technique that prepares young swimmers for successful futures in all levels of swimming.
